Berto Voigt is a self-taught artist based in Cape Town, South Africa, whose creative journey began at an early age and has evolved into a lifelong passion.

Between the ages of 15 and 27, Berto was the owner, director, and creative visionary of a highly successful ceramic factory based in Durban. During this time, he participated in The Garden and Home Show on several occasions, earning a gold medal for presentation and design—an early recognition of his distinctive artistic vision.

After relocating to Cape Town, Berto shifted his focus toward teaching metaphysical art therapy, a path he followed for nearly 20 years. Alongside teaching, he continued to create décor artworks for interior designers, developing a style that blends intuition, energy, and visual impact.

His work has been exhibited at The Palms Design Centre in Cape Town, The Tibetan Tea House, and at various Body and Mind festivals. Berto also hosted regular open days at his home galleries in Tokai and Diep River, creating intimate spaces where the public could engage with and purchase his work directly.

Now retired from teaching, Berto dedicates his time fully to his own creative practice—producing art that reflects a deep connection to nature, transformation, and expressive freedom.
